HL TOPIK Preparation Course

Hanbit Language’s TOPIK Course is designed for students who are serious about passing the official Korean language proficiency test. This course focuses specifically on preparing for the TOPIK exam, covering key areas such as vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing. With experienced instructors who understand the structure and strategies of the test, students receive focused guidance and practice tailored to their level. In addition to test-taking techniques, the course helps build overall language proficiency, so students get ready for the exam and strengthen their real-world Korean skills. Block

Block is Hanbit Language‘s original learning concept, designed to provide the most effective learning time for students learning Korean. Each session is made up of at least two Blocks, allowing students to progress naturally at their own pace and effectively improve their skills.

Start Dates

  • Course start is available every Monday throughout the year.
  • For beginners who cannot read Korean, please register for classes from the first week of every month.
  • If Monday is a public holiday, the next day will be the start date. Please confirm the start date upon consultation.
  • Enrollment for the HL TOPIK Course starts in the first week of each month. Students can join in monthly increments (4–5 weeks).

If you wish to stay longer than 6 months, please refer to the HL Semester/Year Course.

B2 : Is able to understand simple newspaper articles/news and can enjoy Korean movies with Korean subtitles.
Upper-Intermediate
C1 : Can freely express oneself in debates on current affairs using own thoughts; equivalent to TOPIK Level 5–6.

Even if it’s your first time learning Korean, you can start anytime. The classes begin from the basics and build up gradually, and our teachers will guide you every step of the way.

If you can’t read or write Korean yet, it’s best to start in the first week of the month for smoother progress.

It depends on lifestyle, but typical costs are:

  • Meal: 3,000 ~ 8,000 KRW (convenience store / restaurants), up to 15,000 KRW
  • Transportation: 1,250 ~ 1,750 KRW (one-way)

For daily conversations: at least six months from beginner level.

For natural, advanced fluency (e.g., debates): one year or more, depending on each individual.

The social activity schedule is usually provided on orientation day. Everything will be prepared to give you special experiences and memorable moments!
